Description
De sermoenen van Bernardus van Clairvaux in dit handschrift zijn de liturgische preken van het zomerstuk. Deze sermoenen van het zomerstuk zijn waarschijnlijk in twee delen vertaald: eerst het gedeelte van Pasen tot en met het feest van Maria Magdalena, daarna de preken van Maria-ten-Hemelopneming tot het einde van het liturgisch jaar. Dit handschrift bestaat eveneens uit twee onderdelen, beide verschillend van papier en schrift. Het boek bevat de nauwkeurigste en oudste tekstgetuige van de vier afschriften die bewaard zijn gebleven. Een enkele keer heeft de kopiist door een toevoeging een wat vromere tint aan het werk gegeven. Zo is de aanspreking 'lieve broeders' veranderd in 'mijn alre liefste broeders', een terminologie die overigens door Bernardus zelf ook gebruikt is.
