Description
Een man ligt op zijn sterfbed. Een geestelijke staat bij hem, met een kaars in de hand, terwijl hij met de andere hand een zegenend gebaar maakt. Op een tafel staat het gerei voor de bediening van de laatste communie klaar. Rond het bed familieleden, onder wie een wanhopige vrouw die haar handen ten hemel heft en aan het voeteneinde een geknielde biddende vrouw. Rond de voorstelling een randtekst in het Latijn.
